Just wanted to pop in to wish you all a Happy 4th of July and to ask for prayer.
Tomorrow we head back to the hospital for Bo’s bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture, and to be admitted to begin the 3rd round of chemo. If his counts are at least 500, we will have both procedures done. If they’re close to 1,000 we will also be admitted to start chemo.
Our biggest prayer request is for CLEAR RESULTS from Bo’s bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture. Since he ended round 1 with clear results, the expectation is that the results after round 2 will be clear as well. Will you pray with us that it is so? We are hopeful and expectant!
I will admit I have some anxiety tonight as we prepare to head back in tomorrow. Being home is so wonderful it can be easy to forget that we are in the middle of something so big. When I’m reminded of what we are facing, I feel sad and nervous. We ask for your prayers for strength and joy as we prepare our own hearts, Naomi, and Bo for the weeks to come.
We will update tomorrow once we know if we are admitted or not. If they are able to do the procedures, we should have results in a few days!
Thank you again for your prayers and love for our family. Every text, message, call, email, card, and care package we receive encourages us more than we can express.
