Friends,

We are finally home from the third round of chemo. It was bitter sweet saying goodbye to doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who have taken such amazing care of not only Bo, but our family. Many of them have felt like dear friends during some long, lonely days. We will miss each of them dearly and are looking forward to our visits with them after transplant.

This upcoming week is a busy one! Tomorrow morning we have some big meetings at the new hospital. We are eager to learn more about what is to come, but apprehensive as well. Please pray for peace to rule in our hearts!

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of friends, we are taking a little road trip this week a few hours away to rest and rejuvenate before we head into transplant. Our family has needed a little escape and it couldn’t come at a better time!

On Friday, Bo is heading in to the hospital to have a number of procedures done. He will have a bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture, heart echo, EKG, and x-ray done. This is all in preparation for transplant. Will you keep him in your prayers as he undergoes anesthesia and these uncomfortable procedures?

We are continually grateful for the outpouring of prayer, love, and support from all of you, both near and far. We are planning to unplug this week while we are away, but will update again on Friday after Bo’s procedures.

Love to you all ❤️

Bo’s nurses picked out a pirate costume from the costume cart for him last week!

  1. Praising God for His faithfulness. What a journey you are going thru, God is with you, leading & guiding you. You are truly God’s beloved as you are walking this path, day-by day.
    I love this song
Thru it all, thru it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God and I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.
